Quality and ReliabilityGE Aviation carries out electrical testing of all components and modules against the agreed customer specification. A range of Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) is used for probing wafers and completed components. GE Aviation can perform tests over the spectrum of operating temperatures from military (-55oC to +125oC), through industrial (-40oC to +85oC), to commercial (0oC to +70oC) and at other temperatures, if required. The screening options include MIL-STD 883 Class B, BS9450 and standard commercial/industrial. In addition, GE Aviation has a range of in-house environmental and mechanical test equipment, including temperature cycling, thermal shock and vibration, as well as access to a suite of analytical tools. GE Aviation has ISO 9001 AS/EN9100 Rev B accreditation. |
